The Dirt Girl

Ann Todt comes by landscaping honestly, descending from more than two generations of landscape professionals. From playing in 'evergreen' nurseries as a child - to planting tree seedlings - to working in friends yards, she's at her best in the outdoors. So it's no surprise that her passion is landscaping and horticulture.

Ann and her team work with their clients to understand their lifestyles, interests and dreams; then skilfully incorporate those elements into every project they design and manage. Maintaining healthy gardens using environmentally sound approaches is an ongoing commitment.

Ann launched Dirt Girl Landscaping in 2007. She graduated from Horticulture Science with an Honours Certificate in April 2009 and she then went on to acquire the Organic Horticulture Specialist designation through Gaia College. Dirt Girl Landscaping is also a member of the East Gwillimbury Chamber of Commerce.

Taylor grew up in the garden, starting first as a kid in her Gramps' tomato patch and picking strawberries for the farmers' market, then graduated to working in greenhouses and landscaping work.  Enter the light bulb moment of realizing she could have a career doing what she loves to do everyday...and she's not looked back.

Taylor Parks is the Project Manager at Dirt Girl Landscaping. She skilfully pulls all the pieces of our daily adventures together and like magic, gardens appear! She knows her plants backwards and forwards and combines that knowledge with her creative talents to work wonders for our clients.

Taylor received her Bachelor of Arts from The University of Guelph as well as her diploma in Ornamental Horticulture from Niagara Parks Commission School of Horticulture. She has over 10 years working as a passionate professional in the horticulture industry.

Taylor continues to be involved with the Niagara Parks Commission School of Horticulture as a board member of the Alumni Association.

The team at Dirt Girl Landscaping has donated time, materials and talents to local community groups including Rethink Breast Cancer, Inn From the Cold and Habitat for Humanity and more.
